In the past several months, Dr. David Eckman has taken a group of local, bay area singles though the Immersion Experience – a discipleship program based on material from Becoming What God Intended Ministries (BWGI) and the Aphesis Group. The Immersion Experience is a biblically-based, 22-lesson group discipleship process for those who desire to go deeper with God and others. Since the conclusion of the program, Dr. Eckman and graduates have put together the Oasis Project.
Oasis is a support group for Christian singles who seek solid, biblical teaching founded on vibrant Trinitarianism, spiritually transformational in leading participants to richly experience the ministry of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and emotionally and instinctually transformational in addressing the needs of the heart.
BWGI will help manage the teaching program along with the core leadership team, and will act as consultants to the group. Dr. Eckman and BWGI will provide speakers and topics that will challenge stereotypes about Biblical Christianity, and aggressively present the core truths concerning Christ and God the Father.
